NOTE 1 - Present day, The Bells of Ouzeley has become part of the "Harvester" chain of restaurants losing much of its antiquity, but still remaining a much sought after place for wining and dining.

NOTE 2 - The Wheatsheaf has now become part of the "Big Steak House" chain together with a "Wacky Warehouse" complex for the children. The Petrol Station that once shared the lot disappeared in the 1980's.

NOTE 3 - Sadly, the Old Windsor Hospital closed some years again, has been sold to a property development group. Its final purpose in life is an apartment complex - What a shame that money always wins; the 2 schools in Old Windsor (King's Court and St. Peter's) could have been moved into this beautiful spot and eased the ridiculous traffic conjestion seen every day in the village. When will local councils learn!!

NOTE 4 - Crevald's Boathouse closed its doors some years ago and has become the dwelling place for commercial enterpise.
